Hi,
I have text with a small intro section in a double column environment.
The main text is set on a grid and the intro text is slightly off-grid
with a \vskip -2pt before and a \vskip 2pt after the intro. As this
sample shows this works fine, until the intro text is broken over two
columns
It works! Thanks Wolfgang.

It looks like there is no build in command to enable arule between the
column but you could use MetaPost to draw a background for every column.

Hi Yvon,
late, but still issuing the command \column moves you to the next

hello all
I've failed to find how I could put first some text in two columns and then
other text in one column on the same page.
After \stopcolumnsep my text goes on a new page.
Any hint would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

Aditya,
Thanks for the explanation.

Same problem when using --runs=1, but probably the reason is the same
as for --once not working.

I'm not sure. I can reproduce the problem with this test file:
\starttext
\startitemize[n]
\item a
\stopitemize

Hi,
I recently observed that column enumerations start at zero instead of at
one. Has anyone else seen this? Here's a minimal example:
% interface=en output=pdftex
\starttext
\startitemize[n, columns, three]
\item foo \item bar \item hat
\stopitemize
\stoptext
