Hi all,
if i use the metafun macro "externalfigure" with xetex, there is a printed
number
(first externafigure prints a "1", the second a "2" right after the "1" and
so on)
in the lower left corner of the picture; the picture itself is shifted to
the upper right,
out of the bounding box.
I have

Aah, nice workaround, thanks. That has go
Hi,
it seems that the description of what I am looking for is unfortunately still
not understandable.
Thus I searched the internet for some on-line material to link to.
Here is a link to a book typeset this way (but in LaTeX), showing a normal
Index/Pagenumber register and als a Marginal numbe
Hi there,
I'm trying to get to grips with all these colours in ConTeXt and
MetaFun ... What I'd like to get is a document with CMYK and spot
colours only, so here's my attempt:

\enableregime[utf]
\noheaderandfooterlines
\setupcolors[cmyk=yes,rgb=no,spot=yes,state=start]

Hi folks,
This is probably a simple problem but I can't find an answer.
I have a book with a list of figures and have been asked not to include
in the list a figure which does not have a caption, even though it has a
number. So the numbering needs to be sequential, but one of the figures
needs

Hi folks,
I've recently started to consider ConTeXt as an alternative to my
long-time friend LaTeX. I like ConTeXt very much but noticed a few
things that are either less than ideal or maybe I simply haven't
figured out yet how to do them right. Here are the first two:

Salvete,
trying to typeset an unchanged old file with a more recent ConTeXt
version, I keep running into problems. I have reduced the first of these
(others may or may not be symptoms of the same, I'll see that later) to
this input:
\starttext
\startXML
a::b
\stopXML
\stoptext
