Re: [NTG-context] LilyPond module, release 2009-05-19
I just uploaded a version of the LilyPond module that works with ConTeXt MkIV latest beta (only a small fix). Documentation PDF is still the old one, since I couldn't compile it. Does anyone use this module at all, except me? Yes. I use the module, for the old Context. I plan to upgrade at some point, though. -ERF ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

I read Mr. Lindsay's instruction. It worked, and quite easily. I also tried to just use the character in mkiv. That didn't work. However, in mkii, I tried the following: \usesymbols[uzd] \definecharacter crosssign{\uchar{39}{29}} \starttext Here is the \crosssign\ in a sentence. \stoptext That worked too, and seems easier. I would like to figure it out it mkiv as well. I type the character in VIM, but it showed up as a space in the PDF. -Erich ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
[NTG-context] Unicode Characters
I am trying to insert unicode charater 217D (a cross) into a line of text. I cannot figure out how to do it, or if it can be done. I use mkii but could be convinced to move to mkiv if necessary. -Erich Fickel ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

I made them on the same machine, using the same source, once with the texlive-2007 install and once with the minimals install. -Erich ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
[NTG-context] Fonts: Minimals v. Texlive 2007
Thanks to everyone who helped me get the minimals installed. I am having a little trouble. At my home computer, I have the Context installation for Ubuntu 7.04 from the sanjoy tex-live backports. At work I now have the minimals, --context=current, not beta. I expected that the output of these two systems would be nearly identical. They are not. I do not use any special font handling. I let Context handle it all. I use whatever the default fonts are, and use \setupbodyfont only to set fontsize. The same source run on both machines produces slightly different margins and slightly different font sizes. The minimals are smaller (shorter) for the same font size (11 pt). I really would like to get the same output for both systems. Can anyone help with this? -Erich Fickel ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://tex.aanhet.net archive : https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/contextrev/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___
[NTG-context] Installing Minimals Fails
I am having trouble installing the context minimals. I am using Linux (Xandros 4.5, Debian Etch).
