[NTG-context] report of strange(?) output depending on the location of \StartSteps ... \StopSteps
Dear all, This is a small thing which is OK to be ignored. Please pardon me if it is a noise for you. I used to use \usemodule[pre60] for step by step output for presentation. Some time ago, I faced a strange pdf output. For example, I want two steps inside the second item. So, I use the following: \usemodule[pre60] ... ... Test of \tex{StartSteps}. \blank \startitemize \item first item \item second item \StartSteps \startitemize \item flush 1 \FlushStep \item flush 2 \FlushStep \stopitemize \StopSteps \item third item \stopitemize \page \starttable[|c|c|c|c|c|c|] \HL \VL \VL A \VL B \VL C \VL D \VL E \VL\FR \HL \VL \VL 2\VL 1\VL 3\VL 2\VL 2\VL\SR \HL \stoptable ... I got correct steps flush1 and flush 2, but the table after the steps was disappeared.(just white page) If I change the order of table and items, both are displayed and worked well. I have tested in many ways to know why the table disappeared after \StartStep. I found that it is neither the order of the code nor the some other settings. It is the level of the location of \StartSteps. If I put \StartSteps in the first level of itemization, there is no problem. Of course, I have to put more \FlushStep like Test of \tex{StartSteps}. \blank \StartSteps \startitemize \item first item \item second item \FlushStep \StartSteps \startitemize \item flush 1 \FlushStep \item flush 2 \FlushStep \stopitemize \StopSteps \item third item \FlushStep \stopitemize \page \starttable[|c|c|c|c|c|c|] \HL \VL \VL A \VL B \VL C \VL D \VL E \VL\FR \HL \VL \VL 2\VL 1\VL 3\VL 2\VL 2\VL\SR \HL \stoptable I report this just for information which may be already known to Hans, Wolfgang, et al. Dear Wolfgang, Your animation module works really fine. It reduces a lot of work to set the fieldstack. I'd like to ask you a few more small things. 1) Is it possible to set the duration time in the case of autoplay? 2) The location of buttons is leftaligned when [menu=yes]. Is it what you want or I did something wrong? 3) What is the meaning of \start and \stop in animation-1.tex? 4) In your animation-2.tex, the size of buttons can be controlled by setting foregroundstyle. Then, how to apply it to \startanimation? Thank you. Dear Wolfgang, Thank you for the files. Yes, the code is a separate module and you can download it here: https://bitbucket.org/wolfs/animation/src I downloaded in .zip file, and found many files. I copied t-animation.mkvi ../texmf-local/tex/context and run luatools --generate. After that try your sample file animation-1.tex and got a undefined control sequence - \startanimation. The fact is that luatools didn't locate it. Should I do some more things to make it work? Is the module name t-animation.mkvi not ~.mkiv? Thank you again. Dear Wolfgang and Hans, Thank you for checking. I'll wait for next beta. It is one of nice features in presentation and was working well sometime ago. Dear Wolfgang and Otared, Thank you for the reply. I have used \setupinteraction[state=start] and open with Adobe Reader already. \StartSteps worked well in \startitemize and \startcombination. Re: [NTG-context] circled number for item head (Wolfgang Schuster)
Dear Wolfgang, Thank you for reminding me the thread. I also found it yesterday evening and it made me realize how dumb I am. I am so sorry to give you a needless work. I'd like to ask you one more. I was looking for a way to use some characters as an item head like \startitemize[a] because an official document usually use numbers and some characters as item heads. For consecutive characters in unicode, it is possible to do that using unicode. \def\circledja#1{\uchar{50}{95+#1}} \def\circledga#1{\uchar{50}{109+#1}} \def\circleden#1{\uchar{36}{207+#1}} and \defineconversion[][]. But for characters which are not listed consecutively, I don't know how to make it appear automatically. I may use \sym{} AC00, B098, B2E4, B77C, ... These are the same characters in the area 320E ~ 321B without parenthesis. Is it possible to make those characters appear automatically as item heads? I hope that it is not a silly question. Dear Tom, Since I am an enduser of ConTeXt, I couldn't expalin what happens here. I just run your code in the mail and got the following results. 1. Front matter page numbers are not lower-case Roman numerals although they are listed as such in the TOC. The Roman numerals in both front part and in TOC. 2. The Introduction is not listed in the TOC. Same as your output. No 3. Page numbering isn't reset to 1 in the bodymatter section. Same as you, but if I change \startstructureblockenvironment[bodymatter] to \startstructureblockenvironment[bodypart], then Introduction starts from page 1. Re: [NTG-context] slide steps again
Hi, If you want to reveal parts of a drawing sequentially, you may try MetaFun and AdobeReader. There is a sample in 13.6 Growing graphics, metafun manual(metafun-p). It needs your time but the result is very nice. I hope you enjoy it. [NTG-context] about \framed and \inframed
Dear all, I defined Example as following: \defineenumeration[Example] [location=serried, headstyle=bold, command={\framed[height=1.3em]}, text={\ss \white 예제}, prefix=yes, prefixsegments=chapter, way=bychapter, width=broad, number=yes, before={\blank[big]}, after=\blank] The problem is that the bottom of the framed text is aligned just below the center of the following text lines. The vertical center is a little bit higher than that of the following lines. If I use \inframed, then the top line of the frame is a little bit higher than the center of the following sentence, so there is almost no space between the frame and the texts in the next line. In the manual \inframed makes vertical center alignment, but I can't make it. I'd like to make vertical center alignment framed word and the normal text line which follows. How can I do it? Thank you for reading. [NTG-context] how to make chapter starts from odd page always?
Dear all, I'd like to start every chapter starts from an odd page. page=right or page=left doesn't affect the page setting. I tried it using pagenumbering, but not succeed. I also want to put counting + pagenumber at the header of everypage. How to make it work? Here is my setting. Corrections for better shapes are welcomed. Thank you.
