Hi all,
I am needing to de-warp the render output from a Nuke camera with a
90degree FOV (square filmback) to get rid of the barrel distortion.
I used to do this in Nuke 3 (or 4) days a lot using the lens distortion
node back then, which worked based on fov.
Is that old node still around? The
Hi Frank,
I believe that node still exists. It's called PerspDistort. Results
seem to be identical.

Hi, everyone.
I'd like to know what is the best tip to stabilize a drone/crane shot like
the new stabilize tool of after effects does.
I tried with the tracker node but the result in ae (and final cut pro
smooth camera ) are much better.
Any help ?
Thanks.

you could 3d track the camera
then use this orignal solved camera to project the image onto a plane in
front of the camera
then make a copy of the solved camera and smooth the animation curves
use the smooth camera to rerender the projected image

Hey y’all,
Has anyone gotten the Nuke particle system to produce decent cigarette smoke?
I’m looking for the smoke that comes off the cigarette when it’s laying there
in the ash tray, not what people inhale. If so, care to share the secret sauce
recipe? :)
Haven't had a chance to play around with it yet, but could be a job for

We're using Amazon. Setting up a Linux machine or Windows machine is easy
peasy.
In Amazon AWS, you need to set up a VPC with VPN connection to your local
network so that the Amazon machines will be able to access your license
