Yes we have to convert out FCP X xmls back to FCP 7 to get it to conform in NS
. and even then it adds imaginary transforms . of course this only
works if your rushes are .mov . don't get me started on .mxf

Hi Ned,
I has the same issue a while back and someone kindly pointed out that you
can change the specified write node in the project settings for your comp
script.
When you're in your comp script just go to the studio tab and enter the
write nodes name in the field.
Then go back to the timeline

Hi all,
Previous to the demise of QT for Windows the bulk of my Nuke Studio exports
were as ProRes422HQ movies. I would then use something like Episode to
create H264's to send to clients for review.
Now that QT for Windows is out of the picture I'm looking around for a new

Hi all,
I have a clip from a client that QT, VLC and a ViewMetaData node all say is
at 25 fps.
However when I import it into a Nuke Studio project is tells me it's at 24

Is there a way to force a clips frame rate ?

Hi all,
Just wondering if there's away to use "video blend tracks" to set up a kind
of key mix in the timeline ? So one track would act as a matte to mix one
track over another ?
I've got an on going job that uses a custom box wipe to mix between clips
and would like to find a way to keep these

Hi all,
Just wondering if there is a way to send pre comp renders to a frame server
from a comp script in Nuke Studio ?
I have a frame server setup with 6 render nodes and it works fairly well
from the timeline in Nuke studio. However, when my associated comp scripts
get heavy and I need to pre
Hi Frank
Could you make two discreet shots from the one clip ?
That way you'd have one comp container fro 1=>1199 and another one for
1200=>1700 ?
If you've already done the comp for the whole shot you could just import
that into the new shots and render each one from the timeline separately.

This allows you to open the log file to see the errors.

Hi
I'm having trouble getting textures to display in the 3D viewer using
modelbuilder. I'm just creating a standard cube inside it and then trying
to apply colour bars through the 'tex' input.
I have switched the display mode to textured but it still just shows as
grey.
Am I missing something

Has anyone else come across the problem of not being able to edit keyframes
in the curve editor. When I select them the values just don't appear. Can
edit them in the node properties ok.
Using 7.08 on Windows.
