Since my office moved back across Bryant Park in December I've been keeping an
eye on this winter's impressive list of birds at this small midtown oasis.
Others may have had better luck, but since the holiday gift shops left and the
first snow of 2012 I've seen no signs of Chats, Lincoln Sparro
a nicely marked adult peregrine is frequenting the kingston-rhinecliff
bridge span this winter.

A large, dark morph raptor, Gyrfalcon size/look, (I know what you're thinking),
I was traveling in a big-rig at 50 mph... I saw it for 5 seconds...
It looked to have a wide mustache , dark from top of it's head to its vent. a
"large robust" raptor.
