The location of an AMERICAN WOODCOCK was pointed out by a park employee. The bird was in the N border garden's center section. Six sparrow species were spotted: Chipping Sparrow (1), Dark-eyed Junco (1), Eastern Towhee (2 males), Song Sparrow (4), Swamp Sparrow (1) and White-throated Sparrow (4).
