I am looking at the Sage Thrasher right now, which is giving incredibly good looks near the previously reported location. The bird is currently working the grass edge near the mowed path and the Buckthorn shrub it favors. Many thanks to all who posted updates and directions. Cheers,

After an hour+ of waiting (maybe longer by others on site before I arrived) the Sage Thrasher made an appearance in the back of a bush with black berries approximately right here (42.4017505, -73.5660115) at around 3:55 pm and stayed in view for a couple minutes. Patience required for this bird.

After an hour+ of waiting (maybe longer by others on site before I arrived) the Sage Thrasher made an appearance in the back of a bush with black berries approximately right here (42.4017505, -73.5660115) at around 3:55 pm and stayed in view for a couple minutes. Patience required for this bird.

The Sage Thrasher continued at least until noon. It moved more toward the North Garden on the upper grassy paths parallel to the bike path. The bird can be quite confiding but also needs it’s space. Any grassy path appears to be a possibilityif you can not locate it. Good luck! David Speiser
