area. Last I saw it was headed into upper New York Bay and toward the Hudson so
it may still be in the area today.

Montauk this morning around 9:30. It was associating with a loose flock
of common goldeneye. The female was not seen.

geese on the north end of Merritt's Pond, Riverhead. The south end is still
iced over, but the north section (the deeper of the two) is now ~ 90% open.
