minutes) at the Smith's Point Marina, on my way west to watch grandson # 3
play in a CYO basketball game...his team succeeded, mine didn't ! Today I

Got down to Nickerson Beach at about 12:50 chasing this morning's reports. Over
the course of the afternoon I picked up seven species of tern: Black (2),
Roseate (5), Royal (1), Gull-billed (1), Forster's (2), Least (~40) and Common
(hundreds). Didn't see an Arctic among the birds encountered,
