I will echo thanks to Alice Deutsch for sending the text alert out about the
Black-billed Cuckoo; as a result, we were able to enjoy fantastic long looks!
And thanks, Tom, for another nice day of birding and walking together.

No sighting of the Couch's Kingbird today with multiple birders scouring the
area, many present since first light.
Cassin's Kingbird was still present at Floyd Bennett Field at the community

Mourning Warbler was heard first then located, photographed and recorded by
visiting birder, Stefan Martin of Stamford, CT and observed by 3 of us - many
thanks to him!

Greetings all,
The Google Map link/coordinates posted by Jim Osterlund is correct. Sikorsky
Airport in Stratford, CT is very small and not too complicated to navigate.
From the NYS border on I-95 it is approximately 40 miles; from my house (near
the Stamford/Greenwich border) it's only a 45
At around 6:00 PM today there was a single male Eurasian Wigeon on Tung Ting

Greetings to all,
Tom Fiore and I visited Rockland Lake, Rockland County 10/22 - 10/24 and
observed the Eurasian Wigeon on Saturday 10/23. It was in a small pond across
from the lake near the north parking lot, providing relatively close views.
Coordinates were mentioned in a previous report
