After upgrading disk performance dropped from avg. 60MB/s to 17MB/s when
copying over the network to a windows vm.Booting back to pre-upgrade and
performance is restored
Would this be resolved if the pool is upgraded?

Hello,We experience slow network performance after upgrading for virtual
machines.
Copying from a system (physical machine) to the VM the copy speed drop from
85MB/s on release 10 to between 9 and 14MB/s. Both systems I upgraded

Correct. The copy would also stall quickly and pool utilization would be at 10%.
I have not tested NFS for example, but I am sure that would have been discussed
if that was happening. I did have to do zfs send/recv between two nodes on the
same subnet and did not notice any performance issue

I'm looking to deploy an all NVMe system, 2x 400GB for rpool and 4x 800GB for

I have had poor performance for virtual machines using either 10k or 15k drives

Can the smartmontools be used on OmniOS to collect JBOD enclosure status, FANs

Thanks

I am in the process of deploying RSF-1 and running into trouble with ALUA.
Access is slow or most of the time it does not work.
Disabling ALUA access instantly works, but requires a rescan on the VMware
nodes when failing over.
I see the following on both nodes:

Currently I have a few of deployments of OmniOS at remote sites hosing 2 - 7

How do I boot from the 1st hard drive without disconnecting USB?

I removed the data disks and installed on 2x 512 disks then added the 4k disks
again boot fails.
I'm not sure that this can be the expected behavior with 4k disks almost being
the norm these days.

Ok doing a search I see this a known issue. I will install release 14 instead.

Are there any other hosted repos I can point to just to get the change over to
