I am not sure if Evergreen supports Ubuntu 10.10. I think 10.04 is the version
of Ubuntu you want to go with if you are installing Evergreen 2.0.1. Debian

There are two versions of NCIP - v 1 (technically 1.01) and v 2. They are
different and they are not compatible; a v1 initiator cannot transact with a v2
responder. Both most be running the same version in order to communicate.
Most of the implementations available today use v1, but
end application for postgresql
such as PGAdmin or Navicat. However, some postgresql configuration is required
for those tools to access the database.

Hi Bradley,
If you haven't tried already, you might want to stop and restart ejabberd and
memcahced before restarting opensrf. I found that sometimes ejabberd stalls and
needs to be restarted before opensrf can start. I had similar errors and
resolved them with an ejabberd restart.
