Hi Susan,
That message is coming from your ezproxy. It does not have a configuration for
the resource in the 856. Either that's a new database that your
ezproxy does no know about or the URL in the 856 is incorrect.

You should check with your ezproxy administrator.

Hi Susan,

What version of Evergreen are you on and is this problem in the web client?

There is a problem where the browser prevents you from opening links with http.
You can open them by using CTRL-click to open the links in a new tab.

A fix was added to the most recent maintenance releases so that those links now
automatically open in a new tab -
https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1777954.

I hope this helps!
Kathy

Hi all,

Two notes related to this discussion:

1) I filed a bug in launchpad to represent the desire for a standardized
support script for patron loading and updating:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1786524
2) Based on Martha Driscoll's scripts, I made some modifications to the example
script in the documentation to allow for updating existing patron records. The
updated script should appear here next time the docs are regenerated (within 24
hours):
http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/3.1/_creating_an_sql_script_for_importing_patrons.html

Looking forward to further discussion of this desired functionality.

I agree that a GUI batch loader would be very helpful. However, several
libraries need to batch load these patrons on a daily basis, since students may
start programs at various times throughout the semester. So the nightly cron
job script approach is pretty important for these cases, and I think it would
be nice if there were a more standard way in Evergreen to do that particular
approach.

I'm wondering if we might consider including a very general, flexible patron
batch import/update script in the support-scripts directory.
Thoughts?

Hi--

Could we please add importing batch student (patron) records to Evergreen to
the agenda? Curious to see what other institutions are doing. We have an
automated process at the college that we need rethink/redevelop.

Hi colleagues,

One last reminder about today's Student Success Working Group meeting.
We'll talk about citations, course reserves, and the Web client.

It will be held at 10am Pacific / 11am Mountain / 12pm Central / 1pm Eastern on
the Zoom platform. You can use this link to access the
meeting: https://linnbenton.zoom.us/j/938431327. You can also access the
meeting via phone.

An agenda is here:
https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=student_success_working_group:agenda_2018-06-25.
Please feel free to add to it, or to let me know of additional topics you'd
like to discuss.

Student Success Working Group meetings are open to everybody, and have a
particular focus on libraries that serve students at the primary, secondary,
and post-secondary levels.

Hi Bianca,

It looks like patron information was added to the bills template in 3.0.4.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1737540

John Amundson from CW MARS also pulled together an omnibus bug related to print
templates that seems very useful. It cites all previous bugs where print
template fields have been fixed and links to a spreadsheet that lists problem
fields that still exist. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1772053

We currently use the Honeywell MS9540 Voyager CG but we are looking for
