I recently finished documenting my config and everything now appears to be
working properly with 3.0.28. You can find the HOWTO I created at:

Hello Everyone,
After speaking with a few people regarding Samba and ZFS I decided to take a
crack at creating some easy to use documentation. You can find the HOWTO on my
web site (I apologize for the messy CSS):

I will continue updating the config as I complet

I had the same problem with my ASUS P5KR motherboard.
I just plugged in a 10 dollar Sweex ethernet card, reinstalled Solaris
and it worked.

Right. sys-suspend is a part of the CDE, and cannot be released under
the CDDL. As Alan says, the Power Management team is taking over
ownership of a new utility that will replace sys-suspend. I assume they
won't copy the existing sys-suspend code so it can be relicensed under
CDDL.

Do you know if there has been any change to the SDLC ?
If you don't know ... that's cool. Just asking.

Can someone explain what is happening here.
I have a test raidz1 on B71 with approx 2.72TB of usable storage space. I had
592GB available.
here's the hierarchy

It seems that I'm not alone with this issue.
Is your other machine also using an 'ASUS' motherboard or is it another
manufacturer?
Because I see both our machines have the same CPU (Q6600), the same amount of
RAM (4GB) and the same brand of motherboard: ASUS (P5KR and T3P5G965)
I see one big d
Please add the following caveat to the pages describing the manual boot setup;
Minimal version of zfs supported for this procedure is zfs pool version 6
Please use command 'zpool upgrade -v' to verify 1) the version of zfs pool
structure and 2) the version of zpool installed on your system .
I have exactly the same experiences:
sometimes the system stalls after the syncing line, sometimes it powers off.
Both with nv, and Sol10, and yes, maybe a bit more frequently with nv.
Init 6 always behaves as expected (ie. restarts the pc), init 5 doesn't.
It's a Q6600, 4GB RAM, Asus T3P5G965.

Hi. I'm new to Solaris. After successfully running the HCL for my hardware, I
installed SXDE onto one of my hard drives.
Everything runs great. Except I have no internet connection.
Someone has yet to give me useful advice on what to do (going on eBay and
buying an intel ethernet card is NOT use
