Hi, Hanma, I'd recommend you to build it with pkgtool and SFE spec files. And you may install CBE (which includes pkgbuild/pkgtool) on your machine. For detail info, refer to http://pkgbuild.sourceforge.net/spec-files-extra, and http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/jds/contributing/building.

[osol-discuss] Could we provide the extract URL of sundoc in missing manpages?

2008-10-28 Thread Yong Sun
Currently, if when we meet the missing manpage, man(1) just told us to access http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/coll/40.17, and user has to do a search to get the references. Why not we put the extract URL instead? E.g., $ man -s 2 open Miscellaneous

Hi, Wayne, I'm not sure if scim-input-pad is you're looking for, I will integrate this component to OpenSolaris. And iirc, a scim developer in Novell (Peng Wu) planed to re-implement virtual keyboard for scim, I will talk to him to confirm. Yes, it's possible to add colors, I will have a look.

Hi, Wayne, Thanks for your appreciation! IIIMF also supports using different input methods for different input contexts. You could configure this behavior with iiim-properties, i.e., by disabling the The language is applied to all applications option in General tab. Regards, W. Wayne Liauh

Hi, Wayne, Thank your for your comments and suggestions. I personally agree with you, that scim deserved to be bounded in the liveCD :) I think one reason that Sun did not migrate to SCIM completely, is that scim is not that a perfect platform, though it's popular (the author, James Su, also

Hi, bnitz, Thank you very much for the support!!! from s10u4 and nevada build 56, we integrated a new im switcher of iiimf. For JDS, if iiim daemons are started (in any UTF-8 locale, iiim daemons are automatically started), the im switcher (iiim-panel) would be launched by default. For CDE,
