Mine's going out via Comcast's server, but the situation is pretty similar. However, my mail server is still running Solaris 9; I think I may have had to rebuild sendmail, because the one with it didn't have SASL and authentication. I think with what's in Solaris 10 and later, one might not have

I was able to get mmstp to work. The configuration isn't quite as painful I think the sendmail that comes with osol would have to be compiled for sasl support. I have looked at a bunch of other guides and some do state the requirement of sasl for authentication. Thanks for your replies. --

If you check out sfe with svn: http://pkgbuild.sourceforge.net/spec-files-extra/ there is spec file for postfix in the experimental directory. It has dependencies on the other spec files you need to build. Then of course you need to do google searches and research on how to configure it. Some
