Mine's going out via Comcast's server, but the situation is pretty similar.
However, my mail server is still running Solaris 9; I think I may have
had to rebuild sendmail, because the one with it didn't have SASL and
authentication. I think with what's in Solaris 10 and later, one might not
have
I was able to get mmstp to work. The configuration isn't quite as painful
I think the sendmail that comes with osol would have to be compiled for sasl
support. I have looked at a bunch of other guides and some do state the
requirement of sasl for authentication.
