was given a -1 due to not checking that every call to list_hosts returns
200. I realized that we don't have a shared understanding or policy
about this. We need to make sure that each api is tested to return the

Hi Ruslan!
I can recommend two resources:
1. cookiecutter [1] - template for a new OpenStack project
2. http://ci.openstack.org/stackforge.html - this page helps to setup a project
in OpenStack infrastructure, including code-review, Jenkins automation, etc.

Hello, community.
There are numerous open projects evolving that are designed to work with
OpenStack and follow OpenStack development principles (technologies stack,
architecture, etc.). There are even more efforts within many companies
working with cloud technologies.
However it is hard to quick
Hi,
Sorry for late reply, please see replies inline.
I have additional concern that API is something that's user facing so
basically now Nova is exposing some internal synchronization detail to
the outside world.
Does it make sense that the user would now be able to send messages to
this API?

Hi Advanced Services/LBaaS Stackers,
We are setting up a meeting to discuss if it makes sense to separate the
advanced services (LBaaS, FW, VPNaaS) from Neutron into separate projects.
We want a healthy discussion around the pros and cons of separating the
advanced services from Neutron and its

extremely unlikely I'll be able to finish my half of this in time for the
team meeting this Thursday. I apologize for this.
