Hey owls - I have been playing with oslo.log fluentd integration[1] in
a poc commit here [2]. Enabling the native service logging is nice and
tracebacks no longer multiple inserts into elastic - there is a
"traceback" key which would contain the traceback if there was one.

We had to do similar things in keystone in order to validate uuid-ish types
(just not as fancy) [0] [1]. If we didn't have to worry about being
backwards compatible with non-uuid formats, it would be awesome to have one
implementation for checking that.

Lack of caffeine -- it's a file not found error (I knew that).
It turns out that the "zuul-git-prep-upper-constraints" uses $ZUUL_PROJECT in
the clone map [1].

I see that when a host is gracefully rebooted nova-compute receives a lifecycle
event to shutdown the instance and it updates the database with the state set
to SHUTOFF.
Now when compute node reboot and libvirt brings the VM back up nova checks its
database and issues stop api and hence shuts
