Hi,
I would like to know how to check if the OpenVAS was successful in using the
configured credentials.
you're probably using a SMB login configured like described here:
http://greenbone.net/learningcenter/auth_scans.html ?
If yes then i think you should get a Log entry in the scan
I seem to have the same issue like the second one described below, running
OpenVAS 7.
From time to time settings like Target and Port Lists remain on the salve
after a scan, and a new scan of the same target via the slave does not
start.

Hi,
Now before scanning what are the necessary updates needed to be done on my
OpenVas server.
see here for example: http://www.openvas.org/openvas-nvt-feed.html
Upgrading your OpenVAS to the latest maintenance release available here:

Does anyone else have this issue, or perhaps know what job is running to kill
the OpenVAS Manager? Recently, every night around midnight...the service stops
and in the log...it states it can't bind to address. Anyone know of a job
that would be doing this?

Hi,
I have configured a domain credential for OpenVAS scanner and used it in a
target machine. I then run a scan using the target. I would like to know
how to check if the OpenVAS was successful in using the configured
credentials. Is there any log that i can check?

Wahib
