Yeah, and create a tablespace, with datafile - then create a table in that
tablespace (with PK etc.) and create an index for the PK and any other
fields that would warrant an index..

Actually I have done this with my kids and I had then go on a tour with someone that
knows that manufacturing facility, and then had them spend time in order entry, and
the some time in the distribution cent
What about blocking locks
use utllockt to show a "graphical" output of the waiters building up
And you get to show the fun of alter system kill session to get rid of the
blockers !
And get a demo of spotlight and show how much data goes back and forth or in
the database for 2 different queries th
What about some simple SQL statements? That might be fun. Especially if
you create a table "family" and enter in names, birthdates, etc.
