I was wondering the same thing, Aceman. There does appear to be a "spot" on the service road where it meets E 14 that *could* be the block. I've moved it from the junction node to a node just on the service road. That way, the service road essentially remains unchanged with respect to routing

There is a barrier node on E 14 near the western end of your trace, where the small service road connects E 14 and Karolinervägen, that's why it diverted you. http://osm.org/go/0cYMa4BxK--?m=&way=312141287 OsmAnd did what it was supposed to do by routing you around the obstruction :-) --jack

Suboptimum routing /w example

When using Osmand for car navigation, the routing decisions are sometimes suboptimum, or just plain silly, as in the attached example. I came across this during my vacation in Scandinavia. As can be seen, both start and end point are on the same major road, the E14. The route computed by Osmand
