even though in osmand the sd-card was set to be the place for maps I found
them internally. I changed the place and osmand offered to move the maps,
which it did one by one. since then I cannot find them anywhere, neither
connected to a pc nor on the phone. but the tool "treesize" shows they
neither via explorer connected to my PC nor with amaze such file is to be
found. but the maps work.

additionally I find it strange how storage is named. in my german
pc-explorer there is interner speicher and speicherkarte. the first amaze
calls "0" sitting in /storage/emulated. the second it calls "5299-5AAD"
sitting in /storage.

correct: I have seen the "sd-card" NOT being the sd-card. great design.
I had to reload a worldwide map and some basic german maps and now it seems
ok. still I do not understand why the files weren't visible before.
btw: sometimes osmand sends you obscure ways, thinking must NEVER be
switched
I can choose whatever marker I have made as start and endpoint and within
seconds this route is calculated and shown on the map. clicking "start"
does not change that. I don't know why that does not seem to work with the
osmands (3.4.8) of roberto and bart. we need this to make plans, of
where is the setting to only download something like the sat-images when in
wifi?

I am running osmand with an 1.2-xml for faster route calculation. that
works very well indeed, I love osmand! but there are 2 pities: since quite
a while the time calculations for car navigation are far from good. even
when I drive VERY slowly the calculation is mostly 30-50% longer than the

a trip and build a route in osmand, i.e. starting from my home to X. next
morning I want to use that exact route, not just a newly calculated one,
now starting on my actual place, switching GPS on. how can I save the
