Hello Rudolf, this is a bug in OTRS 6: https://bugs.otrs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13367. The data is stored correctly, but displayed wrongly, if the mail has an encoding other than ASCII or UTF-8. The fix is in QA and will be published soon in the bug and as a part of OTRS 6 patch level 2.

Hi, Upgraded from 5.0.23 (Fedora 26) to 6.0.1 yesterday. We noticed an issue regarding the display of German/French characters in OTRS. We sent a test mail this morning from Outlook 2013 to OTRS 6.0.1 with the mail body “äöüàéè”. In OTRS this arrives as “��”. In the Outlook preview these
