I would like to 'second' Pete's proposal that ACMI has consumers on the exec and that any consumers who are interested are 'associate' ACMI members. Woman need midwives need women! Without the women we don't have an art to practice

For those interested NZCOM has three consumers on it's exec which have been
elected by consumers.

Midwives could attend consumer meetings/associations as part of their
accreditation requirements - keeps everyone down to earth that way.
