I am a believer in natural birthing so I had my first baby at home
because I didn't trust the hospital to respect my wishes.

Dear Ben, this was in reply to several messages on this subject on

Did anyone else get the hardcore porn pics sent
through the ozmid list today!? I am getting a bit sick of this! It
is one thing to have spam with links to stinky sites, but when it loads up pics
automatically I think it is a bit much.
Any way of stopping this happening?

Hi. I need some advice..again!! My 15.5 month old daughter is suffering
from her second ear infection in 3 weeks. The doctor she saw mentioned
referring her to a specialist to have grommets put in! (after 2
infections!...I suspect that they are the same infection). She has 2
bottles of cows
I'm not a midwife, so this is just my opinion. What has the size of your
pelvis got to do with tearing? Am I missing something here? That doesnt
make any sense to me. I think you need to change obs. Get a mother and
baby friendly ob. He is using scare tactics with you, telling you you'll

I agree with Macha. What does your pelvis have to do with the tear.
I would really recommend you get a hold of the 'PINK KIT' which has the
most fantastic perineal massage in it. (not like the perineal massage I
have seen described in most books) I have see the most amazing results

How have you been treating her Macha?
If you've been using antibiotics, I would stop or that will set her up for
repeat infections. Garlic oil in the ear and paracetamol for the pain is
what I've found effective. If the body is not allowed to heal itself, then
it can become dependant upon the

I have seen homeopathies work really well with ear infections.
Eliminating the need for grommets. Find a good homeopath and try it.

I was so happy to be involved in the new teamcare

Having the two so close I would think that the antibiotic (guessing
that was what was used to treat it) was not the right one and if he has
not changed it then it is probably not helping that much anyway.

Dear worried Mum,
This is a very scary way to go about offering you information. I would
request in writing (cc to all panel members) some research that supports
this doctors management plan. State that to make an informed choice you need

Hi all,
My 4 year old daughter, Alex, had recurrent ear infections from a very

hi again Macha,
I have just been reading other people's replies to

Dear Judith,
From my humble opinion it is the episiotomy that encourages a
deeper tear. I am definitely not an expert though.
Taking up the point of the other listers, Perenium massage is the way
