Just try it, ok? I never put myself to a situation that people will never
trust me again because of saying nonsense lies. I will utter untrue
statements if I can get such good results. But, I'm trying to be honest to
others.

Hi Doc.
Within the Play settings of control panel f11, there is no checkbox to
identify this problem. I've configured these settings in line with John
Wilson's recommendations, from his tutorial, Audio playing, copying andsound

Hi Katrina,
I didn't really change any of the settings. In the rip music option the
only thing I checked on was to see in which format the files would be ripped
in. I like the W M A format Because of the amountof compression you get.
The files are smaller in size than the MP3 counterpart.
That's true. I have jfw 7, the latest skype, and no scripts. Works fine!

I love that program now. It seems better than total recorder. At least now
recording can be done by stream capture so you can do other things while it
goes. I hide it to the system tray much of the time.

Michael,
Why don't you just take the original recording you made (the one you
imported into Goldwave) and burn it to CD? If it's not in a format that any
of your burning programs can handle, then import it into Goldwave (as you
did) and save it as a wav; then, burn the wav to CD.
If, for some
I suggested nero. Before burning, there's an option there that asks you if
you want to illiminate the silence between tracks.

Are both yellow and green set to loop? If not then it will not work for

Hi Doc.
I've got Green un-checked and yellow on twice, but still, I cannot get the
file to play backwards. Perhaps I should re-install?

Both green and yellow has to be checked. I misspoke on the loop check box.
Only yellow is checked on mine. Note you can adjust the fastforward and
rewind up to 5.0

Can anyone tell me how I can determine if I have all the updates for Nero 6.x.x?
I don't have the foggiest idea what most of the help menus are talking about. I

Hi Dana, on most systems it sounds great, but on a few, it doesn't. I don't
yet know what the variable is, but we'll try and track it down.

Like your playlist very much. Just can't stand to listen to the fuzziness

Again, all the best, and hope you isolate and fix the problem soonest.

hi. I've noticed the *exact* same thing, and I
know of 2 or 3 other people who have noticed it too.
It's as if there is absolutely no high end on the

something like a 24k or 32k mp3 stream may
sound. I'm not in any way complaining about this

yep, that scratchiness is what is called clipping.
That happens especially on the voice breaks and liners.

I've just obtained a latest version of skype as well as the latest scripts.
The problem is, JAWS crashes every time I close the program. I'm using JAWS
version 5.0. I don't have the instraction on how to recompile the scripts.
The questions are, do I have to recompile the scripts? As my friend
There's definitely too much base, but \ can't be sure about too little high

else described as scratchiness, in the vocal frequencies. It reminds me most
of a poorly modulated single side band signal, not heterodyning,
Since I am such a neophyte, I wasn't aware that clipping fell into this area
of the audio spectrum, because I am used to playing musical instruments,
wherein I experienced clipping, in a little bit different way; thanks for
that, Chris! I learn something new every day and if I don't, then that
It reminds me most of one of those AM stereo
stations back in the late 1980's. It just does
not sound like a 128k stream should sound, that's the main idea.

I have questions about batch processing in Sound Forge, version 8 and also
using the external batch processing module available with earlier versions.
Right now I have the earlier version, and can't figure out how to do what I
want to do with it. I want to add effects to numbers of files. I
I agree. The bass is good, but the high end is lacking.

Well yes it was, for AM radio, this is streaming
audio which is a completely different idea
altogether. I used AM stereo as an analogy. The

I'm sorry people, a 128k mp3 stream should *not* sound like that.
