Since my computer returned from the hospital, I am presented with an option
to Log On to Owner or Turn Off Computer at boot up.
Can anyone please advise me how to get it to go straight to the desk-top
please.

No you can not you need stero headphones because they are wired with a left
and right channel and monarol are wired with both sides together.

if the headphones are wired for mono then there is nothing you can do other
than rewiring them to get stereo. It would be much easier to get a decent
set of stereo headphones and if you need to switch to mono an adaptor can be
used.

Yes Keith, you could do that. Go to Radio Shack and tell them you want
an adaptor with an eighth inch stereo phone plug on one end and two monaural
female jacks on the other end. It will probably cost $5.end

I don't use Studio recorder, I use Sound Studio and I use add-on plug-
ins for Noise Reduction, they can be used with Sound Forge, Adobe
Audition, Sonar or anything else which handles Direx plug-ins, hope I
got the spelling of that right.

I have a song here which seem to be recorded in mono.
I want to do a stereo simulation on this song by duplicating and mixing the two
duplicated tracks together.
I am doing this in goldwave.
But it sounds mono anyway.
I have tried to apply the inside out effect but ti sounds not that good.
My word, if all you have is a Shuffle, then, yeah, perhaps anapod is the way
to go, but otherwise, Heck, I'd get Rockbox in a heart beat.
