it's sounds like to me that one of the drivers that made the headset
work got corrupted so she might have to install those drivers again to
make her headset work or install the software that came with the headsets.

Hi Mate,
You probably unregistered the wa4jfw.dll file which is used by Jaws to talk
to Winamp directly. Using the windows run command try the following:

All being well, the dll file should be registered properly and your jaws

burn this disc with windows explorer or windows dvd maker, well you
choose windows explorer then a edit box comes up with what the wizzard

This is just my experience and thoughts:
In the past, I have found the winamp.bm file (this is--or was--the file
containing the bookmarks) and copied it to another computer via a floppy

Thanks Jason. What you suggest sounds good, but most of the files I wish to
burn require divisions into tracks. Can this be done with one of the options?

in windows xp you would go to
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Winamp
replace the owner with what ever you have for your account.
This is is asuming you are using windows xp.

I'm planning to move up to protools, but until then,

the only difference i can make out is that to edit the file and have the
changes show up in your bookmarks you have to edit the .bm8 file. just
editing the .bm file doesn't change the list in the bookmarks. open the .bm8
file with note pad just like the .bm file.

Thanks, I'll check this out.

All you need to do is go into preferences with control p and then down to
general preferences and tab to check for updates at start up and uncheck it
and enter on ok and it will be done.

Hi Jorge. Actually there is a version of Audacity for the Mac and it works
quite well. I would also recommend that you consider Amadeus Pro. I don't have
the url right off hand, but Google is your friend. I believe it costs around
$30 and it might just meet your needs. I think you can try it
Hi Larry:
Do you happen to have the URL for audacity?
I've only been able to download the non-accessible version.
Thanks,
Jorge
