Hi! I have no trouble playing M4A files with Windows Media Player under Windows 7 but can't do the same with Windows Media Player under Windows Xp, does anyone know of a plug-in or anything I can get to change this? Not asking for myself really as I don't much care for audio under Windows

Hi! I would personally upgrade. I believe that version 5.13 is the version that a lot of people are using now, but I am using the latest version, 5.22, with no problems. The built-in scripts make it even more functional. You could also try using goldwave or soundforge to convert the files.
