My guess is you simpy haven't installed the noise reduction plug-in which is
why it's greyed out. It is probably a separate download or on another CD if
you have a CD version of SF.

under plugins) then tab twice you should get to list of plugins, arrow to
the one you want and hit enter, or tab and then space to configure it if you
want to do

Hi. That'd be under the preferences, plugins section under
output. in the list of available plugins, just arrow down to the
plugin you want and then press enter since the close button is the
default button and there you have it. So to summarize, open the
preferences, hit your home key
You can use total recorder to convert any .wma file to .mp3 without
recording. Simply open the .wma file, then choose Save as, and then tab
to change button. There you can choose the format you want.

As far as plugins go, it depends. some of them have installers which will
put all the files in the correct folder while others are zip archives
