line and Mick jack? Turtle beach made the montego II card in 2000 that did and
its a great card but it doesn't have drivers for xp. My new pc has a good sound
blaster card but it shares Mick and line on the same jack.
You can check to see if CMedia has a sound card that has that. TC.

Turtle beach most definitely works with xp. I have one for home and one for
media center. Go to there website and you will find it.

Can he attach a y connector that would plug into the analog output line

have two female connectors that would accommodate the headphones and
whatever else might be desired? You can do a work around with various
connectors.

Hi all, I plan to buy a pro sound card to connect to my AV Receiver, to play
mp3, dvd's dd and dts, dvd audio etc.
I want to use the spdif connection in passthrough mod to play my dvd's and
dvdaudio, and the analogic connection to play other file typs like mp3, ape,
etc.
I read lot
Why use the analog connection at all? Everything should be able to go
through the spdif?

be dead. I can't hear anything through the headset when I plug it in for
Skype-like conversations. So, I need to add a new sound card, preferably an
external one that is USB, FireWire powered
It should be fine. Be sure to disable the integrated card.

I messed up and didn't send the whole message so I'm sending this again.
I can't seem to get speech from my default sound card after installing a
second card. I can get speech from the second card, no problem. But, if I

the first card as the default, I get no Eloquence nor do I get
