It will give you a perfect rip if you use flac and as long as your cd isn't damaged in any way. EAC definitely does the best job of ripping cds at bit-perfect, i.e. a true exact copy, of any ripper I've tried. Mp3 of course by definition isn't perfect because it compresses out some data in
