Hi Gary, No need to format a cd, unless you want to use it as as you would a floppy disk. And in that case, it would have to be a CDRW. You can't re-use a CDR, it's a one time deal, unless you don't finalize the disk after burning. And in that case, you can just add to the disk. R Q J -
