8, the playback of the recorded file has glglglglglitches in it.
This won't do for live recording. I played around with some of the recording
buffer settings, but since they don't have explanatory blurbs with each
I think radio shack sells a device that comes between your AC cord and
outlet that will help in reducing the hum from older systems. Also,
grounding the stereo and computer might make a difference.

Well folks I took the plunge and ordered the edirol r1.
I Bought it and had it shipped next day so I can play with it this weekend.
I ordered it from sound professionals and with some high capacity NIMH
batterys I should get double the time out of the recorder. I all so

I returned mine, because it often produced just digital noise, when I
recorded something with it. At www.taperssection.com are messages from
other people with the same problem. So, if you sometimes just hear
noise when you've recorded stuff with the Edirol, you're not alone.
