Hi rob!
Well, duckstream is not like winamp or real player. Duckstream is just a
program which helps you stream the music from winamp, WMP or realplayer to a
spesific server you have set up the actual program for. For example, let's
say that you have started a little radio station, then you

they are playlist files for windows media player, kind of like an M3u or PLS

with an editor like notepad, find the download link inside the file, and
download the movie where ever it is from and convert it to a DVD or
Interesting new fm transmitter. It's USB powered but is not a sound card. I
wonder how good it will be. They claim a Range Up to 160 Feet.
Would be cool for my laptop.

question, software, to convert the files to the format which will
play on DVDS to be watched on a TV, for example.
Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand your question or what you're trying to do, but
if your plugging headphones into a USB sound card or your USB head
phones are showing up as a sound card then you can configure Windows to
make that the default sound card and then all of your sound will go to
those head

Wow, neat. I wonder if these sound about the same as commercial radio,
nevermind the content on that, but if you stuck a stream through it, would
it sound almost like the real thing?

Do you know if your USB headphones are showing up as a sound card? What
version of windows are we talking about here? Do you have any other
speakers or sound card on this system? Are you hearing the Windows

Good evening, Jorgen.
Thanks for the explanation of Duckstream. If I understand the concept
correctly, I could use Duckstream to stream and archive my program content
to a Live365 or ACBRadio or The Global Voice host server if I have a station

Hello Jim,
Your question has a 2 part answer.
There is good news, and bad news.
The good news is, yes you can save your NLS book to another pen and or flash
drive.
The bad news is, you can't save it as a usable format like *.mp3.
The people at the Bard Talk website has it encrypted so that it

Connect a cable from the LINE OUT on the cassette unit to the LINE IN on your
sound card. Then use a sound recorder program to record and save it to your
harddrive.

High Tom,
You are correct, you cannot play those NLS books on your computer.
Like I said in an earlier post, the people at the Bard Talk website has
those encrypted.
So no you can't convert those to a standard audio file.
But between you and me both, I wish we could.
My best regards.
John.
Hello all list members,
I am thinking about buying a couple of M-AUDIO audio phial-2496 sound cards.
I am buying them strictly for recording purposes.
One of them is gonna be put in to my Windows machine, the other one is gonna be
put in to my Mack system when I get it.
But for the Windows
Of course you can save it as a *.mp3 file, just record it on your PC
using GoldWave or Studio Recorder, of course it would be 1X, and
you'll probably want to make chapter *.mp3s or some kind of markup so
that you can at least use a minimal kind of book marking, but sure,
it can be done, but
