This is not about movies, just MP3s.
My DVD drive is compatible for both plus and minus formats. I want to make
a surprise gift for a friend of MP3 files on a DVD disc.
When purchasing, I have to choose between the plus or minus format.

Of course it will degrade. Remember this: making an mp3 removes
permanently removes data. Making it into a wav file and removing more
data won't make things better.

it writes a new file every time, so there is going to be degradation.

and it seemed to be doing ok. My complaint is that there is no real menu
system, you got to have some sight and a screen ehancer to change
anything and tsomehow something got changed and now
lower bitrates.
