Yes, Replay a/v is the definite choice for recording in Vista. It captures
the audio or video stream before the soundcard ever sees it, so ordinary
computer use is not affected at all.

Hi Milton,
You can just install version seven over the top of version six and
everything will work okay as long as you already have a valid
registration key for version six. I upgraded from version 6.1 to 7.0
without any problems.

I am not a user of Total Recorder so I cannot comment on whether TR has
these features or not.
Among the features I find invaluable in Replay AV are the following:
(1) ability to record a stream prior to its reaching the sound card.
(2) ability to record multiple
Mike, thanks for such a detailed rundown of RAV which I do have as a
trial at the moment.
At first it wouldn't pick up on my Delta Audio mixer, but it did sort
itself out eventually, so I shalll very likely purchase AV Recorder now.
Be interesting to see comments of T R users if any come along.

i would like to know this as well, since all i get is the software speech in

In Window Eyes 6.1 using the DecTalk Access 32 for Window Eyes synthasizer
you have the ability to change sound cards. In the Window Eyes control
pannel hit alt F Y to get to the synthasizer selection dialog. Hit D to
get to Dectalk Access 32 Window Eyes. Tab once and you'll be
