i was referring to ubuntu dapper (i am still on dapper, yes), but now -
after dapper and edgy - feisty is released. feisty also has 0.40.2.
me too, i am still with dapper. but is feisty realtime capable with low
latency tweaking?

Yep, there's loads of great stuff on PlanetCCRMA although it's worth
noting that you don't need a RH distro to enjoy CCRMA packages..
I have successfully converted a few using alien to .deb packages which can
then be installed with dpkg.
