However I tested again with pd-ex 42.5 rc6 compiled on Jaunty and I get the
same behaviour, pd~ does not work.
pd~-help gives me:
error: pd~: can't stat /usr/lib/pd-extended/pd
Am I missing something?

Yeah, if you have an easily reproducable bug, then its best to just go
ahead and post to the bug tracker, i.e report bug on the Help menu.
I've never seen this one, but if you still see it, then you should
report it. And including things like screenshots is great.

Actually, it launches pd, if I go to the directory of the bin of the
compiled source.. so there's something not perfectly working with the
tidy up.
after sudo make install
1) if I launch from bin - ok.
2) If I launch from /usr/bin - that error appears.

you should be able to tell [pd~] where Pd really lives with the message:
[pd~ pddir
... but at least the help window in Pd should work, however it's
installed :)
I don't understand at all the various scripts install Pd or I'd fix this :)

canvas object). I can't move the window that pops up. There's an offset each

instead of white.
I changed the my scheme (SystemPreferencesAppearance) to 'Clearlooks', and
now the canvas is -almost- white :)
