[PD] Arduino + Standard Firmata + Arduino MIDI interface

Hi, I was wondering if I could use an Arduino as a MIDI interface while running the standard firmata. Does anybody do this? Can the additional software simply be added to the firmata or is it necessary to edit the firmata for doing this. Does the Arduino need extra parts like opto-couplers? Or

[PD] usb controller for pd

Thanks! I've looked around and there is some code out there. Looks like the MIDI In which is what I mostly need definitely needs some electronic parts in order to be working. There is some code that I will test but I'm still note sure if it will conflict with the standard firmata. I guess I'll

[PD] Pd on high resolution displays

FWIW, recently there has been a fair amount of work in pd-l2ork with the new tkpath backend to allow for this. Currently we are able to scale everything but the text which requires development of a new widget. Once that is done the canvas will be completely scalable independently of font sizes.

In Pd Vanilla and possibly Pd-l2ork, tk menus and widgets should do the right thing because of something called tk scaling: http://wiki.tcl.tk/8484 In Pd-extended, tk scaling is hard-coded to 1 in pd-gui.tcl, but if you remove that line things should scale up accordingly.  (Or reveal bugs in tk
