Well the DA 40mm ltd is essentially the same formula as the M 40mm, and the same caveat that Boris give about the DA applies. The DA 70 has no aperture ring, (Ok, I'll say it for you/ Well Duh!), and it has limited usefulness on most Pentax Film bodies, at least the ones I'm interested in.

It's typical. The histogram on the camera is one rough approximation of the data shape driven by the preview JPEG, the histogram in Lightroom is its interpretation of the RAW data itself. There are no standards that either can be judged by. I've learned how to interpret the histogram

The MZ-S is nowhere near as useful with DA lenses as the PZ-1p; the lack of an aperture ring limits your options. But the PZ-1p can use DA lenses in any mode - there's a thumbwheel on the body to control the aperture, just as there is on the *ist-D or KxD. On Wed, Apr 30, 2008 at 08:01:38PM

I use cheap sdhc cards - paying $17 to $24 per card. I bought 4 GB cards for the K20D, 2 of them, and then the 8 GB cards were available for $27 so I picked up 2 more. They are all class 6 speed rated. I never bought sdhc cards for the K10D because I couldn't figure their speed. Paul's note

When I got the K20 I picked up a 4G card; the camera store recommended a Lexar, and I've been quite happy with it. The interesting thing is that it came with a little USB-key card reader, and that sucker is *amazingly* fast, way faster than any card reader USB, or FireWire, that I've used before.
