Got and read the book. I like the pictures in it and I appreciate the tips

What I find odd is that all pictures show conditions of very bright stage
lighting, allowing shutter speeds around 1/250-1/500 f/2.8 @ ISO 1600.

that there's some roll off, so that if film can record 9 stops of range,
(numbers POA*) it might only be represented with 7
If I want HDR: -2,0,+2. A single RAW shot processed as HDR or HDR is
