We are quite literally overrun with deer here in New Jersey.
There are at least 4 fawns in the yard every day. Several years ago
we had two herds -- 0ne in the front yard and one in the back yard --
at the same time. The total was 31 deer.
They eat everything in sight, including the flowers in
