So... a couple of times in the recent past I've posted panoramas that
I'd forgotten. That is to say, I'd made multiple shots with the
intention of joining them into a pano but forgotten about it until
stumbling upon the images years later and thinking "hey, those look
like parts of a panorama".
Thanks Igor, it's not that often that it comes together like that in
smaller venues, but great fun when it does.
Cheers,

I bought the Transmitter 2 software with a view to using it in studio
with my 645z but I haven't yet set it up, thanks for the reminder.

I was still back at 1.40, this one seems to be a minor one, fixing stability
issues.
1.41 has a bunch of updates for it to work with the Transmitter 2 software,
which is $200. There is free tethering which will work with lightroom,
That's a very nice shot, Rob!
It's very "atmospheric". Nicely seen and performed very well.
A few times in the past, I've tried to take shots around musical
performances similar in idea, but I've never got anywhat close to this one.
Now I feel inspired to try it again...
Thanks for sharing.

Fascinating story and the article was concise and well paced. Oh and the photos
were good of course.

WOW! We certainly DO think alike. Your "Painted Lady" is not really much

Interesting video, and a fascinating place.
St. Helena is not as remote as Easter Island is, but it's still far
away from the continents (and isolated), and it didn't have commercial
flights until just last month.
And if the cars were underpowered in 1960-s, one might wonder how Napoleon

Thanks Jack. I think I wrote it about 10 days ago. It was a last minute thing.
Hagerty needed something for their Corvette supplement. Shot the car in a
factory parking lot in mid-day light.

Well written!
I went through it with 4:00AM watery
eyes and may have missed some
details, but don't recall seeing the date it was written.(?)

Hi Alan - I was company accountant for Solomon and Co, at that time the biggest
company on the
island - general merchants, doing just about everything! Not sure which car
was carrying the video
camera - could even have been my old Zephyr, No. 289.
This part of the island is the driest, but
Interesting. More civilized that I thought. What on earth did you do there
for 4 years? The cinematographer's car was apparently a real rattletrap!
