I really wanted some better computer speakers and did a bunch of research,

So, I have my EPI 100 speakers (bought in 1974; woofers replaced

a 20-year old Denon CD player, and lots of CDs, almost all classical.

I had the same experience, John! However, I thoroughly enjoyed the 30
minutes I spent lying on the grass under the palm trees watching the

So, I borrowed a toaster, took the 3.5” drive out of its case (Seagate 2TB in
an OWC case), and put in in the toaster.
It spins up, makes clicking sounds for a bit, but still doesn’t show up on the
desktop =or= in Disk Utility.

Interesting, the Norwegian term from the Holiday seems to come from
Pesach (Passover), rather than from Germanic goddess Ostara.
Thanks Paul. House finches are native to the western US, and were introduced to
the east early last century. They first appeared in Michigan and Wisconsin in
the ‘80s and ‘90s.
