There apps where you can tell them what you're photographing, and they will expose and adjust accordingly. For example, I use Microsoft's Office Lens, which is free with my hotmail accont/ subscription, on iPad and iPhone . You can tell it you're photographing a document and it exposes for

One of my long time Scrabble  buddies I play Word with friends with has been putting up a few of his pencil drawings to share on facebook.. He photoed witht he camera on his Droid  - the problem with appreciating them is that he doesn't know how to shoot or edit for a thin lined pencil drawing
