16-50mm. Can anybody explain this to me?
I sure can't, especially when I can get a tamron 16-50/2.8 for $400 - $500.
The weather proofing and the brand name are not worth $1000 to me.

Here is an ignorant question: The new 35 does sound like a very weak lens
offering. But is it possible that it is a cheapened version of the 35 limited
macro? Could they make a 35 that has the top class sharpness of the 35 Ltd
macro but maybe a little less in the way of macro abilities?

Hi all,
I am looking to get some normal 5x7 prints made from some of my jpegs. Nothing
fancy. Emphasis is on affordable and reasonable price. I'm located in the
USA. I'd also consider brick n mortar places (cvs and walgreens are both
convenient.
What do you folks recommend?
