There's a guy in Massachusetts who does the best job remanufacturing 120 to 620 that I've seen. He turns the ends down trims the edge to spec. and adds a metal insert so the 620 film advance key matches perfectly. His product looks like real quality work. He only seems to sell TMax 100 but

Seems like there would be enough of a market to make it worthwhile tooling up to produce a few thousand of the things. However at least one company produces 620 by turning down the spool flanges on 120 film. That seems to be the main difference although I believe 120 spools are a bit shorter

I cant really see any difference between the performance of the K28/3.5 and the M28/3.5. I know that they are optically different. Takinami-san rates it at the top of the Pentax 28mm heap in his comparison of 28mm lenses on Stan Halpin's site, equal to the K28/3.5, which is high praise
